Welcome from Bishop David
This page introduces you to Bishop David Chillingworth and will help you to learn more about his leadership and ministry within our Diocese
Bishop David came to the Diocese of St Andrews in 2005. Ordained in 1976, his previous ministry was in the Church of Ireland, most recently as Rector of Seagoe Parish, Portadown, and Archdeacon of Dromore.
If you would like to find out more about Bishop David, you can read this entry in Wikipedia. He also writes a weblog called 'Thinking Aloud' - he is known on the internet as the Blogging Bishop.
Since coming to the Diocese, he has established the Diocesan Review which has involved clergy and laity in a major examination of our future life and ministry - moving from decline to growth.
