150th Anniversary at St Mary's, Birnam
A weekend of celebrations marks the 150th Anniversary of the Laying of the Foundation Stone at St Mary's, Birnam
Present and former members of the congregation gathered for Choral Evensong on Friday, 20th June. The Service was conducted by Rev Ian Atkinson [who is celebrating the 50th Anniversary of his Ordination] and the Rector, Rev David Brooke. The preacher was Bishop David.
Beautiful flower arrangements enhanced the dignity of the church - this is 'Holy, Holy, Holy'
After the service, there was a Reception in the Birnam Institute and the Anniversary Cake was cut by Alison Chillingworth and Rev David Brooke
