Appointment of new Registrar
Posted Monday 22 September 2008
At the recent meeting of the Diocesan Synod, the appointment of Mr Colin Liddell as Diocesan Registrar was announced. He succeeds Mr Bill Pagan who retires at the end of October. The duties of the Registrar are defined under the Canons of the Scottish Episcopal Church and include, for example, the holding of titles to all diocesan properties and acting as a legal adviser to the Diocese.
Welcoming Mr Liddell’s appointment, Bishop David said, ‘We are very fortunate that Colin Liddell has agreed to become our Registrar. Based in Pitlochry, he is well-known and highly respected in the Diocese. He is widely acknowledged for his expertise in charity and trustee matters.’
