Bishop David in training with American Bishops

Bishop David is at Lake Logan Episcopal Center in North Carolina this week. This is part of the three-year training of the College for Bishops of The Episcopal Church. The programme involves all of the bishops who have been elected during the last three years.
As well as the Residential Training, each bishop has a coaching relationship with another bishop - Bishop David’s coach is Bishop Philip Duncan of the Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast.
Bishop David said, ‘This is a very important opportunity for me to take part in a high quality training programme along with other bishops who are trying to carry out the same ministry as I do. It is also a remarkable opportunity to build a network of relationships with The Episcopal Church at a critical time in the life of the Anglican Communion’.
