Bishop David visits Community House, Alloa

Bishop David recently visited the Community House at Alloa. This is an initiative of local churches working together in the community. It grew out of earlier developments which were led by our congregation at St John’s, Alloa.

During the visit, Bishop David met with the Co-ordinator, Elaine McDonagh and the children of one of the after-school groups. The project has recently secured major funding which will enable the staff team to be increased. This is an important example of how church and community can work together.
