Bishop David visits Provost of Perth

An encouraging sign of change in recent months has been a growing relationship between our congregations and the civic communities across the diocese. Provost Hulbert planted a tree at a recent Open Day at St Ninian’s Cathedral. The Cathedral then welcomed the Perth St Andrews-tide Service in 2008.
Bishop David also visited Provost Leslie-Melville of Angus with Canon Bob Harley and the Revd Andy McCafferty. The Kirking of the Council Service in 2008 was held in St John’s, Forfar.
A future visit is planned to Provost Fergus Woods of Stirling.
