Casting the Net Display - Kirriemuir

At St Mary’s, Kirriemuir on Sunday 31st May, the service was introduced by an explanation of the new Casting the Net bookmark and the fishing net was draped from the pulpit with small cards decorated with angelfish.

The congregation then did a word association exercise around the ‘Casting the Net’ Bible passage and wrote phrases in their fish cards which they then hung on the net.

Fish-shaped shortbread and sugar shrimps were served afterwards accompanied by the grace ‘Come dine with me’ being sung by one of the church members.
