Preparing for Mission Action Planning 2011 - 2012

Lay leaders, Casting the Net Liaison Officers and Rectors from ten congregations met together recently at two MAP invitational workshops to find out more about the Casting the Net Mission Action Planning process. The sessions were held to enable congregations to gain information to help them decide whether to commit themselves to a time of focussed planning for growth and mission in 2011.
Each MAP invitational workshop combined a time of prayerful discussion, presentations from the Casting the Net team and an opportunity to hear the experiences from church members who are already in the process of Mission Action Planning. The Bishop finished each session with a short act of worship.
Palm Sunday is the deadline for an expression of interest in committing to the process.
