Visit of Bishop of Calcutta

Bishop Ashoke Biswas, Bishop of Calcutta, visited the diocese last week with Rev Nigel Pope.  He visited a number of congregations and took part in the Perth 800 Celebrations, meeting the Earl of Wessex at a Civic Reception.  Canon Val Nellist and Canon Dom Ind hope to visit Calcutta later in the year to develop plans for a companionship link between our two dioceses.
